Hi, Kathy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I love the
Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort! The atmosphere of the open-air theater in Luau Cove really makes you feel as if you have been whisked away to the islands. I am sure you and your family will find this tropical feast to be delicious, and I have no doubt that you will be amazed by the hula dancers and the fire-knife performers.
The Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show is a great way to celebrate a birthday or other special occasion. Celebrations can be acknowledged during the show. If you so choose, you can even order a
specialty celebration cake for an additional charge by calling (407) 827-2253 at least 72 hours in advance.
Guests with reservations for the Spirit of Aloha Dinner show should report to the Luau check-in desk at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort's Great Ceremonial House at least 30 minutes prior to showtime. Due to this show being held outdoors, there is the possibility that it could be canceled due to severe or inclement weather. If the show would happen to be canceled, you would still need to report to the Luau check-in desk. At that time, a Cast Member can discuss your options with you. Often, they will try to reschedule you for another performance, based on availability. If this does not work out for you, your prepayment will, of course, be refunded.
Please let us know if you have any other vacation planning needs that we can help you with. Wishing your daughter a very happy birthday and all of you a magical Walt Disney World vacation!
