Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Susan! I’m so glad you stopped by!
I’m thrilled to learn you are planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort during the most magical time of the year, Christmas! If there was ever a place that decks the halls and trims the trimmings, it is Disney! One of my first memories of visiting WDW as a child was during the holidays. We stayed at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. The life-size gingerbread house with the delicious gingerbread scent wafting all through the grand lobby, the massive and stunning Christmas tree, the lights, I was captivated! It’s a memory that I will not soon forget.
Susan, I’m happy to share with you that the Holidays arrive early at the Walt Disney World Resort. This past year, the parks and resorts were all dolled up and jingle bell ready right around the first week of November, and the special Holiday events had begun! A few favorites that I recommend you not miss are
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, a special ticketed event at Magic Kingdom and, included with your park entrance at Epcot, the
Candlelight Processional. Both these special holiday offerings are truly special and a great way to kick off the holiday season, even if you’re visiting before Thanksgiving!
I hope this helped answer your question, Susan. Please do come back and see us again soon. We would love to help you plan your upcoming visit to the place where
the magic is endless!
Have a pixie-dust filled day!
Emille
