planning a vacation to WDW however don't know if one person can make it. Could I book the entire package, resort, tickets, dining plan, etc. and then add them in later when we know for sure. And when would we have to know, and how would it affect ADRs?

    Howdy, Amanda!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It is great to hear you are planning your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Hooray!

In my experience, it has been easier to add someone onto your reservation than to remove them. Some Travel Agents have different policies, however, if you book directly through Disney, you should be able to call them and add the additional member as long as it is at least 3 days before your arrival. I'm not sure how many are in your traveling party, but in addition to their tickets and dining package, there may be extra fees associated with adding another Guest to your room and you'll want to consider the maximum room occupancy when making your initial reservation.

Adjusting your Advanced Dining Reservations or ADRs can be a little tougher. You may want to do the opposite and make them for the full party and then call to modify with one less if needs be. Either way, I suggest not canceling your current ADR until you find another for your party.

I wish you happy planning, Amanda, and please let us know if there is anything else we are able to help with!

    Magical Wishes,
