I am planning a vacation to WDW, and i am bringing my 13 year old sister and my 2 almost 3 year old son. I was wondering how do i combine fun for the both of them . ALso i am a military member how do i ensure i get the best deal for my family?

Hi, Jennifer! Congratulations on planning your Walt Disney World Vacation! You're sure to make lifelong memories for all travelers in your family. Also, thank you for your service to our country. With two members of my family serving in the military, I understand the unique sacrifice required, and I always try to point service men and women to the various benefits of a Walt Disney World vacation. You deserve any discounts or privileges afforded for what you do!

First of all, head over to the Shades of Green website and become familiar with the various benefits and discounts offered. Plus, you can contact representatives from your branch in leisure travel should you want to explore vacation packages such as Disney cruises, too.  Once you have made reservations for accommodations, tickets and possibly dining, go back to the Walt Disney World site to become familiar with the various attractions, entertainment, dining and recreation opportunities.  I think you're going to be amazed at just how many things there are to do with toddlers and teens.  My four children span a 10-year age difference, and although we make a few sacrifices to make everyone happy...we usually all agree on doing everything together.

One of my favorite things about a WDW vacation is watching my teens melt back into the children I knew them to be. Maybe this will happen to your little sister, too...especially as she watches her young nephew as he experiences a ride or sees a character for the first time.  I hope I've sparked your enthusiasm and helped you plan. Come back if I can do anything else for you.

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
