Hello.. We are planning our 1st vacation to WDW in August 2014 and are staying at a good neighbor hotel. Are we gonna be able to still use the monorail an the Disney transportation to an from the parks?

    Hi Vanessa!

Wow, it is so exciting that you are planning your first Walt Disney World vacation!  I have some great news for you because anyone can use Walt Disney World Transportation free of charge! Walt Disney World Transportation is complimentary for all Guests regardless of whether they are staying on Walt Disney World Property or not. You can ride from a Walt Disney World Resort to a Theme Park or Downtown Disney or in some cases from a Park to another Park (for example the Monorail from the Magic Kingdom to the Ticket and Transportation Center and then transfer to another Monorail to Epcot or a Friendship Boat from Epcot to Hollywood Studios). You will have to get transportation from your good neighbor hotel on to Walt Disney World Property, but once you are on Walt Disney World Property, then you can use the Walt Disney World Transportation System to get around.  Often the good neighbor hotels offer a shuttle service on to Walt Disney World Property (you will have to inquire about this shuttle service with your particular hotel) or you can rent a car.  Please don't hesitate to ask us Moms and Dads more questions as you keep planning your first Walt Disney World vacation!

I hope that you have a magical time getting transported around "the World" on your first Walt Disney World vacation!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
