Deb from ME Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I am planning a vacation in September 2027 and wonder when I will be able to book a resort. Once I make the reservation if a special comes out such as 30% off, can I get in on that special? Is the deposit refundable if my plans change?

Hello, Deb! Let me roll out the red carpet and welcome you to planDisney. I am here to give you the VIP (Very Important Planner) treatment to ensure all your vacation planning questions are answered. So, without further ado: Lights! Camera! Answer!

We are similar in the sense that I also want to have my future plans all squared away as soon as possible so I can focus more on what I will be doing on vacation instead of booking the vacation itself. Unfortunately, 2027 vacation packages have not yet been released. Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for updates about when these packages will become available. History tells us that late spring or early summer is a good time to check back and see if those future dates are ready to book!

Now, Deb. We also share a love of savings and Special Offers. If you come across a deal you are eligible for after you have booked your Disney Resort Hotel room or package, you can click the "Modify" button on the Walt Disney World Resort website or on the My Disney Experience app to find and apply offers. If you give that a try and something isn't working for you, you can always call Guest Services and speak with a Cast Member about the offer you've found. They will be delighted to assist you in modifying your resort stay, vacation package, or ticket offer.

If your plans change and you need to cancel, make sure you are aware of the Terms & Conditions associated with the type of stay you have booked, as there are different cancellation windows for room only reservations and vacation packages. You can find the details in the confirmation email you will receive when you book your trip.

I hope this information is helpful as you wait for 2027 dates to be released! Please come back and see me here at planDisney for more planning tips and suggestions.

    Stay magical,
    Scott
