We are planning a vacation from October 11, 2014 through October 18, 2014. I noticed they have specials for the first few days in October and the last few days in October. Is the time we are planning to go a busy crowded time, since they have no offers?

    Hi Sheila:

In my opinion, you've picked a wonderful time to head to Disney World.  There are two rules about Disney World that I follow.  The first is to wear comfortable shoes.  The second is that Disney World tends to be less crowded when schools are in session.  Since most schools are in session in mid-October, you'll find the Parks to be less crowded than at more popular vacation times.

While I don't have a direct line of sight into Disney's pricing strategy, the Parks should be comfortable crowd-wise and weather-wise during your vacation. Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and the Epcot International Wine Festival should be running throughout October, so Epcot may be a bit more crowded than usual, particularly on the weekends.  But overall, you should enjoy a wonderful vacation.
