Chris from MO Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am planning a vacation in Oct 2017 for 4 including my twin 5 year old girls. Should I book a room as soon as I can (499 days out)? When/if discounts are offered after my reservation am I free to alter my original reservation?

Hi Chris! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I love that you are starting to think ahead about next years vacation. I don’t think that it is ever to early to start planning and figuring out all that you hope to experience! If I don’t have a Walt Disney World Resort vacation booked…you can bet that I am working on planning my next trip!

In my opinion five years old is the perfect age to take kids to Disney. There is still so much magic in their eyes and exploring the Theme Parks with them makes for some great fun and memories. My daughters love the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for Princess makeovers! I highly recommend this experience on your upcoming vacation!

You will be able to book your next vacation as soon as Disney releases your dates. If and when any Special Offers are announced you may be able to adjust your vacation to reflect the Special Offer that works best for you. It is important to remember that Special Offers are offered on a limited basis with a limited amount of rooms available. Special Offers may also only be available at certain Resort hotels so it is important to keep this in mind as you may have to switch up your hotel choice.

I hope that you have an Unforgettable time. Please make sure to keep coming back to visit us with any vacation planning questions that you may have. We want to help make your vacation extra magical!
