Hi, Zayda!
Your questions are good ones, and I am so happy that you asked them!
First, for budget-minded folks looking to book a trip to
Walt Disney World, I recommend a stay at one of
Disney's Value Resort Hotels, such as
Disney's All-Star Music Resort. All-Star Music is a fun, nicely-themed resort with a great, affordable food court and convenient bus service to all the fun. Poolside activities and an arcade provide entertainment when relaxing at your resort, too.
Regarding a
Disney Dining Plan, we can determine if that is the most affordable way for you to dine in WDW. First, look at how much adding a DDP to your reservation will cost (DDP is added per guest per night of stay.) Next, take a look at some of the menus at locations where you'll likely dine; menus are available when you click on any restaurant on a
map or on a list of
Walt Disney World Dining locations. Add up the cost of the items your family members would likely order in a day, then determine which total is less expensive per night of stay. Consider both Quick Service and Table Service menu options, as they vary greatly.
Some prefer the comfort of knowing that they have already paid for the majority of their dining expenses by being on a DDP. Others feel that these plans offer too much food. Because of this, you'll know what's best for your family if you compare actual costs of what you'd enjoy eating to the cost of a DDP.
