Hi I am planning a vacation for June 2016 with my family I have a husband who has a surgery in his right foot 3 years ago. I am wondering if buy a wheelchair can be very helpful to my husband because he can't walk long distances.

    Hello Marlena!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I hope you are having a magical week!

Disneyland Resort offers many things to help guests with mobility issues enjoy their stay and time in the parks. There are wheelchairs and electric scooters available for rent on site. I’d advise you get to the parks early in order to make sure they will have them available. Alternatively, you can bring your own wheelchair as well.

When you first arrive at Disneyland Park, head to guest services and talk to them about the various attractions and services that will allow for wheelchair access. Disneyland Park has quite a few separate entrances for attractions for guests with mobility issues, while Disney California Adventure Park has some queues that are wide enough in the standard queue line. A little planning will go a long way to ensure you have the best possible visit!

I hope this helps and please let me know if you need anything else as you plan your magical visit!

    See you real soon!
