We are planning a vacation for June 2024 and my children really want to eat at Be Our Guest. One child will be 12. Can she still order off the kids menu as she won't eat what is on the adult.

Hi Mandi! It is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that I welcome you to planDisney! We invite you to relax and pull up a chair as we proudly present…your answer!

Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom Park is my favorite Disney Dining location in the Walt Disney World Resort! My family and I have celebrated many wonderful occasions in “Beast’s Castle.” My 40th birthday party was held there, and I dined there after recording my first planDisney podcast!

It has been my experience at Be Our Guest Restaurant, as well as at other Disney Dining locations, that most servers will allow Guests to select from the children’s menu if that is their preference. I truly can’t recall a time when any of our children were denied ordering from the children’s menu once they were a little older.

There are three dining rooms in the castle. Each has something unique to offer. There is The Rose Gallery, which features a large statue of Belle and Beast enjoying their unforgettable dance together. Across the way, there is The West Wing! Here you will find the enchanted rose as well as a portrait of the Beast as a prince. Keep a close eye on that portrait as the “thunderstorm” rolls closer to the castle. And, of course, there is The Grand Ballroom where Belle and Beast shared their first dance and fell in love. This is my favorite room as I enjoy watching the “snow fall” outside the castle. Also, the master of the castle himself has been known to visit all three dining rooms during mealtimes, so be sure to have your camera ready!

Mandi! I hope you have a great visit to the Walt Disney World Resort and Be Our Guest Restaurant! By the way, be sure to try “the grey stuff.” As Lumiere says, “It’s delicious!” And, he’s right!

    Happy Planning!
