I am planning a vacation for February 2016 if everything goes as planned. What is the cancellation policy for room only?

    Hey Lori-

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Let’s not even think about canceling. Let’s just imagine that everything is going to work out practically perfect in every way.

That being said things do come up so better to be prepared than not.  With a room only reservation you will need to pay a deposit equal to one night’s room rate within seven (7) days of the reservation. If booking online at the deposit is paid at the time you make the reservation. The balance of your room only reservation will be due at check-in. If you booked online within 45 days of arrival then full payment is due at the time of booking.

Here is the important part. You may cancel or change your reservation WITHOUT penalty up to five (5) days prior to check-in or six (6) days if booking online. You maybe subject, however, to any new rates on a resort change or room change. If you use a third party authorized Disney travel specialist please allow them extra time, if possible, to make the changes to your reservation.

Let’s hope you never need this information and your February trip is the best ever.

Lori, I am so glad you contacted the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Please let us know if you have any further questions.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories!
