Hi! I am planning a vacation to Disney World in mid October. We have never been there before. I have a 7 year old daughter and was wondering which is the best place to stay. I would like to stay in the value range, but may go to moderate. Thanks!

Hi Diana! It is so hard to pick out a favorite Disney resort as all of them put so much effort into detail and service for their guests.  If I had to pick a value resort my choice would be Pop Century.  It tends to be a bit more family while the others can tend to have a few more groups staying there.  For a moderate pick I always choose the Port Orleans French Quarter or Riverside.  I think the ambience is outstanding and love the fact you can also get on a boat and head to Downtown Disney quite easily is a plus to me.  You can check out some great pictures by going to portorleans.org.  If you are planning to use resort facilities such as the pools and other areas quite a bit then I suggest you try for the moderate resorts as you will find everything just a step above with slightly larger rooms and more amenities to the pools etc.

Have a magical time and let us know if you have any more questions about your first trip to Walt Disney World!
