Planning a vacation to Disney World in February 2012 probably the 19th, is that a good time to come? Also we will be staying at Holiday Inn Hotel in the Walt Disney World® Resort is that a good choice? thank you so much!

    Hi there, Ashley!

You have chosen a beautiful time to come to Walt Disney World. The weather is starting to warm up enough that you'll likely be able to wear shorts or capris during the day, and still get to wear your cozy hoodie at night.

Presidents' Day Weekend has historically been a full weekend for Walt Disney World, although the crowd levels are nowhere near those of the holiday season! Generally, Disney World will start to see crowd levels slowly increase after the long holiday weekend, due largely to the start of Spring Break vacations, and steadily rise through the peak of summer vacation season.

You'll be catching the Parks just before the major vacation seasons begin, so you ought to find the crowds levels to manageable.

All of the hotels in the Downtown Disney area must adhere to the high standards established by Walt Disney World. Like its neighbors, this Holiday Inn is an "official Disney hotel," meaning that you are going to experience  high levels of customer satisfaction and staff responsiveness. These hotels, while well-appointed with pools, restaurants, etc., do not have the same level of theming as do Disney Resorts, nor do most of them have on-staff Cast Member concierges to assist with specific Disney issues.

That said, the Downtown Disney area is a convenient and fun place to call "home" during your vacation. You'll be close to the shopping, dining, and entertainment, and just a quick shuttle ride away from all of the Parks!

    See you later, celebrator!
