    I am planning a vacation to Disney World with 3 adults and 5 children ages 4, 10, 10, 13, and 17. I would like to plan a trip on a very tight budget but still enjoy ourselves. I would like info on if it is cheaper to stay at a resort off of Disney & al

    Welcome to the Moms Panel!!  Sounds like you are in the works of planning a wonderful vacation!  I totally understand planning a great vacation on a budget!  And Disney understands vacationing on a budget also. 

    I suggest that you look into one of Disney's Value Resort Hotels.  These hotels are on Disney's property and it's not too much on your wallet.  You will still be able to take advantage of Extra Magic Hours, complimentary transportation around Walt Disney World Resort, and the option to add one of Disney's dining plan options.  Staying at one of Disney's resort hotels allow you to enjoy more quality time with your family and friends.
