    I am planning a vacation to Disney and to Universal Studios in July. Should we stay in Disney or should stay outside since we do plan on going to Universal as well? I know this vacation is going to be expensive, but I am trying to be as frugal as possibl

    Hi Crystal!

    There are advantages to staying onsite at Walt Disney World and offsite.  In fact, there are advantages to doing both on the same trip!  I recommend working with an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner.  He or she is a travel agent that specializes in trips to Walt Disney World, Disneyland, on board the Disney Cruise Line, and with Adventures by Disney.  His or her services are typically provided at no cost to you.  He or she should know the best deals available.  I suggest looking for an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner that also has a lot of experience with the other theme parks and attractions in the Orlando area.
