I am planning a vacation to Disney in three weeks and am trying to decide which attractions would be the best use of our Fastpass+. My daughter is obsessed with Disney princesses, especially Ariel. What is the typical wait time for the Little Mermaid ride?

Hello Rebekah! My son absolutely adores Under The Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid. We usually do not use a FastPass+ selection for this attraction, as we are able to enjoy it multiple times in a day without much of a wait. The wait time depends on the season and crowd levels, so I suggest that you download the My Disney Experience App on your Smartphone, if you haven't already. The My Disney Experience App has the listed wait times for all of the attractions at Walt Disney World. You can check back every day to see how long the wait time is and take the average to decide if it is an attraction you want to use as a FastPass+ selection. Right now My Disney Experience is listing the wait time as 15 minutes.

I know that your daughter will just love hopping on a clamshell and going under the sea to see all of her favorite Little Mermaid characters dancing and singing. Actually, this attraction just came out of refurbishment after some changes to the lighting, so you will get to experience all the new updates on the attraction. My favorite part is the external queue of Prince Eric's Castle. It is my favorite castle in any Disney animated film, and I always get get so excited seeing it in real life.

If you have any more questions, flip your fins on over and we'd be happy to help. It won't cost much, just your voice! Only kidding, have a magical Walt Disney World vacation!
