    We are planning a vacation to Disney in the summer 2010. We are traveling with a 3 yr old and 5 yr old. What moderate resort do you recommend? We were considering the Caribbean Beach or the Coronado.

    Hi Amy,

    Caribbean Beach and Coronado Springs are both great resorts!  However, I think I would choose Caribbean Beach if I were travelling.  Both resorts are rather large, but it's possible to get a room close to the bus stop, food court AND the main pool if you stay at Caribbean Beach.  At Coronado, you'll have to choose between being close to either the main building or pool area.

    Near the main pool at Caribbean Beach is a zero depth, splash zone with slides that I think your kids will love.  Also, the rooms at the resort have all recently been remodeled.  I'm not sure if you have any pirate lovers in your crew, but you can request one of the special pirate themed rooms.  Otherwise, the rooms are decorated in a whimsical Nemo theme.  Regardless, a stay at Caribbean Beach could be a vacation in itself.
