Jambo, Deborah!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. I have loved my stays in two-bedroom villas at Walt Disney World Resort; we love being able to prepare and eat meals as a family and spend down time together in the beautifully-themed and cozy living quarters. It’s also great when you have little ones who nap!
Deborah, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Kidani Village accommodates up to nine Guests, plus one child under age three in a crib, so it should work for your group. I do recommend taking a look
online at the room layout and photos to be sure the configuration meets your needs; typically one of the bedrooms has a king bed, the other has two queens, and then two more people can sleep on the sleeper sofa, plus one more on the sleeper chair, in the living room area. We’ve done big family trips and made this work really comfortably, but it will depend on your group’s configuration of adults and children, plus the comfort-level of those sleeping in the main living space. The fabulous thing about these two-bedroom villas is that they feature three bathrooms, which makes it so much nicer for a group of 10!
If you have any questions about room layout or want to make any special requests, such as a crib or pack and play for the little ones, please call (407) 939-1936 and speak to a Cast Member. You can also make room requests as part of the online check-in process using My Disney Experience.
Deborah, enjoy your stay at Kidani Village! While you’re there, I hope you’ll get a chance to dine at
Sanaa and try their amazing bread service there while taking in those gorgeous savanna views.
Have a magical vacation!
