I am planning a vacation in August for myself, my son, and my mother. I was attempting to go without renting a car, do you think this is possible? My reservations are going to be in the Disney Animal Kingdom Lodge. Also, I have 7day hopper/waterpark tiks

    Hi Erin,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  I am happy to tell you that I think it is absolutely possible not to rent a car while at Walt Disney World Resort.  I have been to Walt Disney World Resort numerous times, and I have only rented a vehicle once.  Walt Disney World Transportation is great and I actually found having a car on Disney property did not save much time.  The only reason you may want to consider renting a car is if you are going off property.  Other than that, Disney transportation will be your best bet during your Walt Disney World vacation.

Have a magical vacation at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Erin.  If you have any other questions while planning please let me know.  I would be happy to help.
