We are planning a vacation for April 18-25th 2015. Is there a way to find out what is happening this week, or how busy it may be?

    Hi April:

Disney World tends to be more crowded when schools are out of session.  Many primary schools, especially in the NorthEast, are out of school for Easter/Spring Break around the time of your planned vacation, particularly the week of April 14th.  So you'll likely find the Parks more crowded during the first half of your vacation than the second half, which hopefully is more preferable than the other way around.

As for events, I would check out Park Hours and Calendars, calendars for individual Parks such as Magic Kingdom, as well as Disney's Events and Tours page.

    Enjoy your vacation.
