Hi, We are planning a vacation to AK KV 10/21. Any suggestions on best location to request at KV - close to main lobby or futher away? ps - going with grandparents, parents, and 4 and 2 year old. Thanks,

    Hi Karen,

Disney's Animal Kingdom - Kidani Village is an amazing place to stay.  My family loves the deep, rich decor there, and it's incredible to wake up and take your morning coffee out to the balcony where you may be treated to a view of giraffes and zebras!

It sounds like your most important consideration for room location is distance from the lobby.  If you request a room close to the lobby, this will put you close to most of the amenities of the resort, including Sanaa restaurant and shops.  If you request a room between 7200 - 7219, 7300 - 7319, 7400 - 7419, or 7500 - 7519, this will keep you close to the lobby and to the Walt Disney World Bus Stop; however, this set of rooms makes you further away from is the Samawati Springs Pool.  If you want to be closest to the pool, you should request a room between 7624 - 7641, 7724 - 7741, 7824 - 7841, or 7925 - 7941.  These will put you further from the lobby and bus stop but closer to the pool.  Please be aware that while Disney will do their best to honor requests, they are not guaranteed.

I don't think that being too close to the lobby at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village will be too loud.  Noise is a concern close to the lobby at many resorts, but I don't think it's too much of a problem at Kidani Village.  I would most consider requesting to be close to the lobby if you think that walking a long way to your room will be a problem for anyone in your traveling party.  Otherwise, you can consider if you would rather be closer to the bus stop or the pool area and base your request on that.

I hope that this information is helpful, Karen!  Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.  Have a great time planning your trip!
