Hi Kathy! Thank you for asking such a great question! My wife and I just had a delivery to our resort hotel last month! I’m happy to share our experience so that it might prevent some of the confusion we encountered.
So many delivery services are familiar with the addresses of hotels within the
Disney Resorts Collection. As long as you provide your name and the resort address, your delivery will arrive at the correct location! This service was so convenient!
When placing your order, be sure to verify with the company making the delivery if you need to be present, in person, to receive the order. Additionally, verify with the
concierge desk at your resort hotel if they expect you to be present to receive the order. If there are items such as beer and/or wine in your order, you will most likely be required to be present to accept the delivery. If there are no adult beverages, then you probably will not be required to be present. If you are required to be present, make sure that you schedule your delivery for a window of time when you don't plan on being in one of the parks or at a dining reservation!
If you don't have to be present to receive your order, the resort hotels have refrigerator/freezer space to keep items cold if needed. That was very convenient! Kathy, have a wonderful visit! It is getting so close!
