We are planning on using our phones or apple watches to go in and out of parks. Should I and how do I put my 14 year old daughter and 18 year old niece's tickets on their phones? They may not be with me and my phone the whole trip.

    Hiya Kelly!

Thank you so much for sending us your question, and welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet! Can you believe that you will be at the Walt Disney World Resort in one short week? I am so incredibly excited for you and your family to experience the magic of the 50th-anniversary celebration, and you will get there just in time for this year's EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival - my favourite.

Now, I don't know about your family, Kelly, but I always forgot my MagicBand in my Resort Hotel room, no matter how many times I reminded myself to bring it! For that reason, I am the biggest fan of the Disney MagicMobile Service, and the good news is that your whole family can join in on the fun! There are two ways for your children to use the Disney MagicMobile Service on their iPhones, Apple Watches or Google Pay-enabled Android smartphones. First, if they have the My Disney Experience mobile app downloaded, they should be able to log into your account and download their theme park ticket into their digital wallet. To do so, simply click on the three lines at the bottom right of your screen and click on "Disney MagicMobile." Then, they will select their pass and download it into their digital wallet. In that same section, they will be able to customize the design of their ticket so that it fits their favourite character, park, attraction and even snack! Second, if this option does not work, however, and you all have iPhones, you can download their ticket for them and send it to them via iMessage, provided that they are in your contact list

Now, suppose anyone in your party were to find a MagicBand of their absolute favourite character. In that case, they will be able to link their new MagicBand to their ticket and use it in addition to their Disney MagicMobile pass with no problem. Indeed, your kids can try different forms of park admission and see which one best fits their needs. Personally, while I always use my Disney MagicMobile pass, I also love using my Goofy Movie MagicBand from time to time, as it really stands out above the crowd!

I hope this was helpful, Kelly, and that you and your family have the best day ever on your upcoming Disney vacation. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your trip, don't hesitate to reach out. You and me, we're in a club now!

    Have a magical day,
