we are planning an upcoming trip to ft wilderness cabins and was curious if we could mail a package to ourselves via WDW with non-perishable items we will need for cooking and snacks? we will have a 9yo/6yo and infant and this would save us alot of money

Hi Debbie!  My family will be making their second visit to the Fort Wilderness cabins this fall and we are looking forward to having the nice kitchen facilities during our stay.

You can mail a package to the Fort Wilderness address which can be found on the main page, click HERE, on the right side.  I suggest you try to time it so the package arrives just 2-3 days before your arrival.  Make sure you have your name on the package that matches your reservation name as well as your arrival date.

I would also like to suggest you consider using the great grocery delivery service that is available and one that I used for our last visit!  It completely won me over as to the efficiency and ease of the service.  Please check out www.gardengrocer.com on line and see the lengthy list of items you can purchase ahead of time.  You will then choose the delivery date and the time you wish it to be delivered on that day.  When we used it all the items were in the cabin when we opened the door.  This is a great way to also have milk and other perishable items ordered and delivered and they will make sure those items are in the refrigerator or freezer.  We will definitely be using this again for our October visit!  Don't wait until the last minute to sign up for your delivery....they limit the number that they can do for each day.
