Hi Eric,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question!
When it comes to sharing plans within the
My Disney Experience mobile app, you’ll want to make sure that the family members that are maintaining the reservations are sharing “All Plans” with your app. In my experience, I try to reduce the number of people having their “own app”, that way only 2 – 3 people are changing plans or reserving things. This way when those 2 - 3 people share all their plans, everything syncs up pretty seamlessly.
From your My Disney Experience mobile app, you’ll want to choose your “Family & Friends List” (located under “My Profile”), then select the person’s name you want to share plans with and then you'll either select “Scan Linking Code” or “Send Email”. Choose whatever is easiest for you! Once they accept the linking request by email or by scanning the QR code, go back to your “Family and Friends List” and select their name one more time. You’ll want to double check that “All My Plans” is selected like I mentioned above.
If children’s plans are linked in the apps, no worries, their plans should flow over into your app as well since they’ll be linked through their parent or guardian’s app. Once all the apps are linked, the 2 – 3 guests who hold all the reservations should be able to make changes and plans for the entire group. You should also see everyone’s tickets in the “Tickets and Passes” section. This comes in handy when making a
dining reservation or getting
Disney Genie+ Service.
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare for your next Walt Disney World vacation. If you have any other planning or vacation questions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
