    Planning our upcoming trip for Aug 2012. Travelling with 4 adults and 2 children ages 3 & 6 (both boys). Trying to decide on staying at Saratoga Springs or Boardwalk. We want to make sure that we enjoy time both in the parks & at the pool. Sugge

    Hi Tina! August is a wonderful time to visit Walt Disney World!

    My family and I have had the opportunity of staying at Disney's Boardwalk Inn and Villas and we absolutely loved the close proximity to the shopping and entertainment section of the resort, as well as the super neat water slide called the Keister Coaster. For little ones ages 3-6, this most certainly would be a swimming paradise! For park visits, it's hard to beat the boat or walking access to Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT!

    High Rock Spring Pool at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa does look beautiful with the cascading waterfalls and rockwork however, for my family, it just doesn't have that clowning around feeling we get at Luna Park Pool at the Boardwalk. Also, theme park access from Saratoga Springs will be via bus transportation only. However, there is a delightful boat ride to the Downtown Disney shopping and entertainment district, so consider your touring plans carefully when making your final decision.
