Hi Christie,
Welcome to planDisney!
How exciting to have two trips planned to the Walt Disney World Resort! Pictures are priceless and
Memory Maker is a fabulous tool to help you capture your adventures.
All of your Disney PhotoPass media
taken from within 30 days of activation will be included in your Memory Maker. Since your trips are further apart, you will need to purchase Memory Maker for the second trip. Once purchased, you will have access to all of the digital photos taken, including the videos from select attractions.
Once you have Memory Maker, remember to check to make sure your photos are updating in the My Disney Experience Mobile App while in the parks and resorts. If a photo does not appear, stop by a Disney PhotoPass Center in the parks. Cast Members have helped locate missing photos for us on prior trips. Or, complete the
missing photo form.
Prior to becoming
Annual Passholders, my family always purchased Memory Maker and we developed a photo strategy. At each park we take a classic photo near the entrance and we do at least one more photo with a PhotoPass photographer in a location away from the main entrance. We also make sure all of our attraction photos are linked.
With our Annual Passes, our digital photo downloads are included. Although Annual Pass sales are paused right now, it may be worth exploring them as an option should sales resume prior to your visit. In determining the value for us, we considered how many days we would visit in a year, the cost of Memory Maker, and the potential savings on merchandise and food discounts.
As you continue to plan remember to make
advanced dining reservations when you get to the 60-day mark prior to both trips. Check the
operational updates since policies and procedures could change. And review the updates to theme park experiences, especially as we get ready for
The World's Most Magical Celebration!

Magic and memories,
