I am planning on turning 21 at a magic kingdom special event (6th) and drinking around the world the following day (7th) I have an under 21 ID and was wondering if I could use that as it has my accurate birthday and wouldn’t be able to get a new ID before.

A Very Merry Un-Birthday to You! And on the 7th, a Very Merry Birthday to You!

I can think of no better place to raise a glass to celebrate your day than Walt Disney World Resort. To buy alcoholic beverages, you need government-issued photo identification with your birthdate on the card. Your current ID, even though it was issued when you were underage, will work as long as it meets the requirements: issued by the government, includes your birthdate and a photo, and is printed on a card (not paper). You may want to read the policy to make sure your ID is OK, but you should be fine with an official driver's license. Hakuna Matata!

If your special event is Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, check out the Disney Eats: Foodie Guide to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2024. There are so many tempting treats that will have sugarplums, and churros, and cookies, and ice cream, and gingerbread, and peppermint... dancing in your head! It is like a whole buffet of birthday sweets. There are also so many delicious non-alcoholic drinks to enjoy the last night that these are your only options.

Be sure to get a Celebration Pin so everyone knows it's your special day!

Happy Christmas! Happy Birthday! Happy Everything!
