Planning on trying Liberty Tree Tavern in MK, which meal is the best to try there - lunch or dinner?I looked at both menus and they both looked really good!I'm creating my "must see,do,eat WDW" list so I am all ready to when we can book our ADR's

    Hi Brandy,

That is indeed a hard choice!  The atmosphere at Liberty Tree Tavern is awesome because it takes you away from the theme park crowds for a little & enjoy a nice, relaxing meal.

I am sure there are those that would choose lunch & others would choose dinner.  If I had to choose just one meal, I'd go for dinner. I am a southern girl through & through & there are times I love hearty comfort foods on vacation & your can find those at dinner. To me, its a nice change from burgers and fries or fancy foods (not that I don't love both of those too).  But dinner there feels like a little touch of home for me.

I love that its all you can eat served family style which means I don't have to run back and forth to a buffet, I can just relax.  I love the salad with the strawberry vinaigrette dressing. The bread & butter is so yummy!  The turkey & beef are so tender they melt in your mouth. The apple crisp served warm with ice cream for dessert is delish!  I also like that beverages are included in one price with dinner & I can order tea with my meal and milk with my dessert for no extra charge.

On visits that we plan dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern, we eat an early light lunch at another location & make our dinner reservations at the Tavern early. That way I can walk off my dinner and ready for popcorn before the fireworks.

I have to admit that you can't go wrong with lunch either. I especially love the Colony Salad - yummy! Keep in mind that dinner is a fixed price while lunch is ala carte. Depending on how big of eaters the members of your party are, dinner may be a better value.

The Cast Members there are so awesome at taking care of you during your meal & make you feel right at home.  Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
