I am planning a tript o WDW for Oct. 30 thru Nov.5th. Can you tell me if this is a good time to visit. Meaning less crowds, diminished lines and good weather???? I really would like to visit during a less busy time.

    Hi Lucille!
I think you have picked a superb time to go...and for all of the reasons you mention. Because most of the country has gone back to school in late August/early September, crowd levels are very manageable during the time you are going. In addition, the weather is great, (maybe even still a little hot some days), with warm days and very comfortable nights. After the middle of October (on average), it's like someone hit the "beautiful weather switch" because it gets so comfortable. AND, the cherry on the sundae, so to speak, is that you and your family can attend Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party in the Magic Kingdom (separate hard ticket admission required). This is a "must-do" for this time of year.
So, there you have it...I congratulate you on your planning prowess, and wish you and your family a Magical vacation!! :)
