I am planning a trip with my young family mid-October for 10 days. With the meal plan, how essential is it to make reservations daily or for most days? We don't necessarily want a 'super scheduled' vacation... do I NEED to actually do this?!

    Hi Melanie,

I totally understand not wanting to plan everything out. October is generally not too crowded, but you'll still want to make some dining reservations in advance. At a minimum, I'd recommend making any character dining reservations in advance, as well as anything that's a definite must-do for your family. That way, you won't be disappointed if there is no availability when you arrive.

If your vacation falls over the holiday weekend, I'd also recommend booking dining for those days, since those are likely to be more crowded.

    Have a wonderful vacation!
