Hi Shanin,
Your question is SO hard to answer! Both Resort Hotels offer an abundance of amenities, views, signature dining and more. The biggest stand out will be the difference in decor. Disney's Contemporary Resort offers just that ... a contemporary feel. Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, the flagship Resort of Walt Disney World, offers turn of the century elegant theming. My first suggestion would be to check out the independent site allears.net. From the site, click on "accommodations," and view the photos of each Resort Hotel.
Both offer complimentary Walt Disney World transportation via bus, boat or monorail. The Contemporary is in walking distance to Magic Kingdom. I do happen to think, however, that Disney's Grand Floridian has a step up on pools. Check out the newest addition featured on the Disney Parks Blog, the
Alice In Wonderland Themed Kids Water Play Area. If you plan to spend time in the pools with your 'li'l Mouseketeers, I think you'd prefer Disney's Grand Floridian.
Although it's quite easy to travel around via monorail, you might also consider the different dining options between the two Resort Hotels. Check out the locations and menus by clicking the following
Dining link. Advanced Dining Reservations are strongly recommended. You can book them online or by calling 407-WDW-DINE.
Both are iconic in their own way ... it really will come down to your budget and what pulls you in when you view the photos. You won't be disappointed with either decision, Shanin.
