We are planning a trip for 2 years from now. My two daughters and myself have never been (my husband as gone twice) Do you think it is crazy to plan so far in advance? I won't be booking until the time come, but any ideas on where to start the planning?

Hi, Anne!  It's never too soon to start getting excited about your trip to Disney World!

During the next 2 years, you have a lot you can do to get ready for your vacation.  One thing you can do is get on email lists from several websites.   Log onto and under your profile, mark that you would like to receive updates and special offers via email.  You will get updates from Disney that will familiarize you with the different promotions Disney runs.

Other sites you might want to visit and get on their email lists would be and   These are 2 of my favorites.  They have very informative websites and newsletters.  They have a lot of great travel tips and keep you updated with Disney happenings, specials, and more.

Start a Mickey Fund that will help to pay for your vacation.  Even if you save a little bit before your vacation, this can be your souvenir fund, or if you save enough, it just might cover your meals or room!

Before you know it, you will be planning your magical vacation of a lifetime!
