We're planning a trip with a 3.5 year old, and twins just under two for September. We're also bringing the inlaws. As the kids' first trip, we're thinking either two rooms at AS Movies or a suite at the new Art of Animation. Which is the better idea?

    Hi Richard!

I honestly don't know, because the Disney's Art of Animation Resort is not even open yet.  However, the concept art for that resort looks amazing and I would be tempted to stay there.  In fact, I'm looking forward to staying there with my family.

In the past, when I have been in your situation, I've always chosen two connecting rooms over the Family Suite at the All Stars Resort.  In fact, sometimes with the right discount, we could get two connecting rooms at a Disney Moderate Resort for less that it would cost to stay in the Family Suite.  Also, having two connecting rooms gave us a little bit more privacy at night.

It's a hard decision, but I don't think you can go wrong either way!  As I said, if I was you, I would be tempted to try out the brand new resort!  Good luck, and write back if you have any more questions!
