We are planning our trip with a 2.5 year old. how many days at the resort and how many days of day passes should we plan on? We are interested only on Magic Kigdom, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom. Should we get park hopper passes?

    Hi Isadora!

I have traveled many times with toddlers and your question really depends on how many days you plan on visiting the Walt Disney World Resort.  It is definitely more ideal to have a relaxing resort day scheduled in between a couple of busy theme park days, but I know it's also important to feel like you were able to see and do a lot.  I like to schedule resort time in the middle of our days or have a resort day about every two days, just to give the kids a break from all the walking and the go,go,go pace. Heck, I even find the resort days to be some of my favorite vacation memories!  As far as Park Hopper Passes go, they are a wonderful convenience, but again it truly depends on what you want to accomplish during your stay.  There are trips where we use them everyday and there are trips where we plan our days around not having them. With a 2.5-year-old, it may be better to only focus on one park per day. The Planning for Pre-School Kids and Little Ones page has incredible resources to help plan your visit and daily itinerary around your kiddo.  Although they might not, you will never forget the first time their dreams come true!

Happy planning, Isadora and if there is anything else I may assist you with including recommendations or vacation suggestions, please let me know. Have a wonderful trip!

    Magical Wishes,
