Hi there. We’re planning a trip this year to Disney world and I’m just wondering if the free dining is offered for Canadian residents as well? Thanks. Also how is the weather typically in September?

    Hi Colleen,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you so much for asking me a question. I love helping out my fellow Canadians!

From what I understand, Canadians can absolutely take advantage of the Delicious Deal (that is, the “Free Dining” Special Offer) as it isn’t restricted to residents of the United States. That being said, because that special offer can’t be combined with another one, you need to buy full price Theme Park Tickets and can’t combine that promotion with the special ticket offer for Canadian Residents

If you’re planning to visit before September 27, 2019, my advice would be to see how much of a price difference there is between a package booked using the Free Dining offer and a combination of a “room only” Disney resort hotel promotion and the Canadian Resident ticket offer. If you think you’ll spend that price difference on food during your visit to Walt Disney World Resort, then Free Dining may, in fact, be a delicious deal for you and your family.

As for the weather, I’ve visited several times in September and I’ve usually found it to be as almost hot as the summer months, with a fair bit of humidity. If you’re looking for some more sun before we head into our Canadian fall (and, ugh, winter), then September would be a great month for your holiday.

I hope my answer helps you better plan your 2019 vacation. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,
