Hi Sara,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Hooray for your first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort! I am confident that Mickey and Minnie Mouse will be delighted to greet you when you arrive.
It sounds like you have purchased the
Disney Dining Plan which includes two snacks and two meals (one quick-service and one table-service) per night of stay. The happy news is that YES! You can certainly use your table-service meal credits to have character meals. Just be sure to double-check the number of meal credits required for each restaurant. To check, simply click on the link for the restaurant, then click on the link that says "Some Dining Plans Accepted." Once you click on that link, a chart should appear that lets you know how many meal credits the restaurant requires. You may have to scroll down to see the information for the 2018 dining plans.
When my family has used the Disney Dining Plan, we have typically dined at
Chef Mickey's, The Crystal Palace, Hollywood & Vine, 1900 Park Fare, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall and 'Ohana. The character interactions are fantastic. Our girls love getting their autograph books signed.
Cinderella's Royal Table, however, requires two table-service credits per guest 3-years old and over on the dining plan.
Remember to make
dining reservations well in advance. We always make reservations 180 days in advance and make changes as needed.
Sara, get your camera, autograph books and royal attire ready and make those reservations!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
