planning a trip for 2010 and we are wondering if ddp dinner tips can be paid for with disney visa rewards card? thanks

    Hi Mary!

Yes, you can absolutely use your rewards card dream dollars to pay for your gratuities when out to dinner. You can pay for any extras during your meals with cash, credit card, dream dollars or room charge.

I usually place a credit card on file upon check-in for room charging privileges on my Key to the World card. Then I just charge my gratuities back to my room, and visit the front desk a day prior to check out to pay my room balance with my dream dollars. I find that this is much easier because you'll only need to submit one card (your room key) to your server at the end of your meal. They can then deduct your dining credits and charge any extras to your room.

You can also apply for your dream dollars or cash to your room charge account if you prefer not to place a credit or debit card on file.

I hope this helps! Enjoy your upcoming vacation!
