Planning a trip w/o kids for our 30th anniv. in Oct, debating Beach Club or Yacht Club. How hard are king beds to get at those resorts? I've heard YC may be better for couples, but I would love to stay in the refurbished BC rooms. Thoughts or suggestions?

    Hi Michell,

Congratulations on your upcoming anniversary! A Walt Disney World Resort vacation sounds like the perfect place to celebrate to me.

Disney's Beach Club Resort and Disney's Yacht Club Resort are two of my favorite resort hotels at Walt Disney World. I absolutely love relaxing at Stormalong Bay and as a Guest of either of these resorts, you will have access to this water wonderland. There are also three other leisure pools to enjoy if you're looking for a quieter spot to soak up some sun. I also love the variety of dining options like the seafood buffet at Cape May Café, the malted milkshakes at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop, and the signature dining at Yachtsman Steakhouse.

As for the rooms, I would hope that you wouldn't have trouble getting a king size bed if you requested it. Be sure to note that you are celebrating your anniversary and hopefully, every effort will be made to fulfill your request. The Yacht Club seems to be a little less hectic than the Beach Club, and it seems that there are more business people there who are attending conventions. Nonetheless, you absolutely cannot go wrong with either of these resorts!

I hope you have a wonderful anniversary and enjoy lots of magical moments together. If we can help with anything else, just let us know!

    Happy planning!
