Hi Curtis,
Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.
It's great to hear you're planning a trip to Disney's Wilderness Lodge. I had the opportunity to enjoy Disney's Wilderness Lodge during a recent Walt Disney World stay. One of my favorite fine dining spots, Artist Point, is located on site. (Hint: the Cedar Plank Salmon is amazing!). And one of my new favorite outdoor lounge spots, Geyser Point Bar & Grill, is also on site. (Hint: I don't know which deserves a louder shout-out: the Bay Lake views or the Bison Cheeseburger.) Another reason I enjoy Disney's Wilderness Lodge is because of its proximity to Magic Kingdom. There is a
water taxi to take you directly from Disney's Wilderness Lodge to Magic Kingdom. An alternative water taxi route makes stops at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and Disney’s Contemporary Resort. You can also use Walt Disney World Bus Service to get around. What you will want to keep in mind is that bus routes can vary depending on time of day and destination. For example, some bus routes for Disney's Wilderness Lodge at different times of the day might make stops at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Now here's some great news! The
My Disney Experience Mobile App now offers a new
Bus Time feature to help you quickly and easily see bus arrival time and your estimated park arrival time. As I see it, this is just one more reason why the My Disney Experience Mobile App is a must-have tool for managing your day-to-day Walt Disney World vacation.
Enjoy your Disney!
Jerry
