I am planning a trip the week of 6/16/13 or the week of thanksgiving 2013. Can you tell me which week would be less crowded? Thanks for your help!

    Hi Susan,

Although summer can be a busy time at Walt Disney World, the crowds will not be in full force by mid-June.  Holidays, by contrast, are reliably busy.  Therefore, if you're looking to avoid the parks during peak attendance levels, you're better off to plan your vacation for June 2013.

Keep in mind, however, that it will be hot in June.  If you prefer milder temperatures, November is a lovely time to schedule a visit.  The Moms Panel can offer you strategies for visiting the parks on crowded days if you decide to visit during Thanksgiving week.

Good luck with your planning.  Let us know if you need any additional advice.  We'd be delighted to help!
