Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Amber! Toting small kids around Disney’s Hollywood Studios is something I’ve very familiar with. My daughter’s first trip to this Park saw her at only 9 months old, and my son was 4. They adored all the Star Wars offerings!
Now, a few years later, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is starting to grow with the opening of Toy Story Land and the expansion of
Pixar Place with the Incredibles during your 2019 visit. Your two year old will not need a ticket or a FastPass+, since they can enter the park as a compliment (they will need tickets and such when they turn three, and in the meantime, can just tag along with the family). I would make
FastPass+ reservations for either Slinky Dog Dash or
Alien Swirling Saucers, though you will want to check heights on your kids against the requirements. You may need to use Rider Swap for your littlest Mouseketeer. Likewise, Star Tours is a great pick for a preschooler, and I think your 4 year old will adore it. My kids love a FastPass for Fantasmic after dinner, where seats are reserved for an amazing nighttime spectacular like nothing you’ve ever seen. There are plenty of shows and character meet and greets at this Park, so if your kids love Star Wars, take them to meet BB-8 or get a furry hug from Chewie. Lastly, Midway Mania has no height requirement and is always a crowd favorite. Skip the line and make this your first FP+! I would schedule them about 60-90 minute apart, so you have travel and potty break time.
If I can help you with more preschool visiting tips, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
