    Hello! We are planning our trip for the 2nd week of September and are looking for the Planning DVD. I see online videos but no DVD. Is WDW still sending DVDs out if requested? Would love to watch with daughter and tell her we are going back! Thanks.

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love the happy surprise you are planning for your daughter! 

    In an effort to conserve resources and protect the environment, planning videos are no longer mailed but are available online. My family watches the planning videos on our portable devices. When we want to show one on our television, we Chromecast it from a device. 

    Since we have considered becoming Disney Vacation Club members, we have received informational packets and those are great resources. I especially loved the "let's dream" booklet because it included layouts of the Disney Vacation Club resort rooms. Disney Vacation Club does have a DVD available at this time, but it speaks primarily to Disney Vacation Club membership. Our last informational packet also included "COLOR the world with your magic!" coloring books for the girls.

    I do suggest that you register for the free online planning videos. When I did, I received an email from Disney Destinations, courtesy of Mike (our pal from Monsters', Inc.) that gave us "Personalized Eye-Deas" for our vacation. Mike's one-eyed stare inspired us to start making dining plans for our upcoming trip!

    Jaime, in lieu of a video, you could send her on a quest around the house. For one trip, I made clues for the girls by printing pictures relevant to our trip. Each clue included directions to the location of the next clue. By the time they found the last clue, they squealed (and ran around the house) because they knew we were going to Walt Disney World and Kennedy Space Center! #MAGIC
