Hiya Rob, and welcome to planDisney!
It’s great to hear that you’re planning a visit to the
Most Magical Place on Earth in just a few short weeks. That’s such an exciting time to visit, as the parks and resorts will be fully decked out for the holidays, and there’s truly something for everyone to enjoy.
Now, your question is a bit broad, so I’m not entirely sure what kind of options you’re hoping to explore. Are you looking for suggestions on where to stay within the
Disney Resorts Collection? Dining recommendations? Strategies for how to best experience the four theme parks, the water park, or
Disney Springs? If you’d like to send me a follow-up question with a bit more detail, I’d be happy to dive deeper and tailor my response to exactly what you need.
That said, I’ll take a quick stab at two key areas most Guests focus on in the planning process: Resort accommodations and
dining reservations.
Starting with where to stay, using your travel dates, it looks like current availability is somewhat limited, but there are still a few solid choices.
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, and Disney’s All-Star Music Resort all show openings as of now. Of the three, my personal pick would be
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, especially for a party of six. The Family Suites there offer a separate bedroom for the adults, a living space that converts for additional sleeping areas, two bathrooms, and a kitchenette for prepping quick meals or snacks. Plus, the resort is located along the
Disney Skyliner route, giving you convenient access to both EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Plus, it is affordable!
When it comes to dining, you’re well within your 60-day
Advance Dining Reservation window, so now’s the time to make those plans. Head over to the “Things to Do” tab on the Walt Disney World website and select “Make Reservations.” From there, you can filter by date range, party size, and time. I recommend leaving the “All Destinations” option selected so you can get a full picture of what’s available across the parks, resorts, and Disney Springs. Just keep in mind that if you book a restaurant inside a park, you’ll need valid admission for that park on the day of your reservation (or the Park Hopper Option if you plan to move between parks).
Rob, I hope this gives you a good starting point for your upcoming trip. If you’d like me to focus on something more specific, itinerary planning, special experiences, or dining recommendations for your group, I’d be happy to help you fine-tune those details.
Send me another question with a few more specifics, and we’ll get your plans dialed in.
