Hi Lyndsey! Welcome back to planDisney.
December is a truly magical time for a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. I love seeing all the holiday decorations around theme parks and resort hotels and tasting all the gingerbread and peppermint treats. There are so many ways to enjoy the
holiday season at Walt Disney World, and you are going to have so much festive fun!
There are so many reasons to love park hopping, and dining is at the very top of that list for me. With the
Park Hopper Option on your theme park ticket, you'll be able to "hop" to a new theme park when Park Hopper Hours start each day. Currently, Park Hopper Hours begin at 2:00 p.m. daily, but you should check the
Park Hours during your visit for the most up-to-date hours. So yes, you may absolutely make dining reservations at a different park from the one at which you've made
Theme Park Reservations, as long as it's after 2:00 p.m. My family loves to dine at EPCOT so we often "hop" there in the evenings for a meal or even just to enjoy snacks at our favorite World Showcase dining locations. On a recent visit, we hopped to Disney's Hollywood Studios to have dinner at
The Hollywood Brown Derby (two words: margarita flight) and then rode the Disney Skyliner to EPCOT for a dessert of Macaron Ice Cream Sandwiches at
L'Artisan des Glaces in the France pavilion. That may have been my favorite-ever Disney dinner-and-dessert combo!
Have so much fun with your planning, and be sure to read the
Disney Parks Blog as you count down the days. Mickey is making his list and checking it twice, and I expect that soon we'll see lots of fun features about holiday offerings around the theme parks, resorts, and Disney Springs. As you make your plans, your pals here at planDisney are here to help if you have any more questions. We're also sharing our tips and finds from inside the parks
on Instagram @planDisneyPanel, and I hope you'll stop by and say hi there too! Have the BEST time, Lyndsey!
Wishing you much magic,
Robyn
