    Planning 2nd trip to WDW for 1st week of Dec 2012. The new Art of Animation Resort looks great and I love the theming. Do the value resorts tend to be noisier than the moderate or deluxe? We are light sleepers and like a quiet place to sleep.

    Coming to Walt Disney World during the winter holidays is going to be fantastic for your family. The parks and resorts are decorated with just the right amount of holiday charm. As for volume levels at the resorts it really depends on where you stay. I recently stayed at Disney's Boardwalk Hotel and despite it's charm and beauty, there were some issues with the outside noise creeping in. The great news is that the wonderful cast members located at guest services in the hotel were able to resolve the matter with a  quick efficient room change and the problem was solved in a snap. I would suggest that your accommodations will be wonderful with all the Disney magic and charm you have come to expect. If there ever is an issue, the cast members are happy to assist. Have a magical vacation at the Happiest Place on Earth.
