We are planning a trip to WDW the week of Aug 26-Sept 1, I have a 3yr & almost 2yr when we travel, I am curious about what the weather will be like that week along with will there be enough for my 2yr to do when we are there? Thanks for you help

    Hi, Amanda!

Heading to Walt Disney World is the perfect way to end your summer vacation.  That week should have relatively low crowds since many kids will already be back at school.  The weather will still be very warm with temperatures in the 80's and 90's.  Plan to have a double stroller with a sun shade, hats, sunglasses, and plenty of sunscreen.  Keep everyone hydrated with frequent water breaks.

Your little ones will have a great time!  Just the lights, sounds, and surrounding magic will keep them entertained.  When my princess was about 2, all she wanted to do was play in front of Cinderella Castle and wait for each stage show.  When my son was little, his obsession was riding the monorail!  You just never know what is going to capture their attention and keep them happy.

Here are just a few family friendly attractions for your whole family:

Magic Kingdom:  it's a small world, Peter Pan's Flight, Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

Epcot:  The Seas with Nemo and Friends, Gran Fiesta Tour

Hollywood Studios:  Disney Junior Live on Stage, Beauty and the Beast, and Voyage of the Little Mermaid

You will want to make sure to keep as close to your kids' schedules as possible with meal times, nap times, and bed times.  The better rested they are, the more they will enjoy themselves.  You will want to use the wonderful Baby Care Centers located in each of the theme parks that are great for diaper changes and feeding.

I hope all of you have a wonderful vacation in Walt Disney World.   If you have any other questions as you are planning your trip, just let us know!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
