Planning 2nd trip to WDW, 1st trip we missed AK. Sons 18 & 9; Daughters 20 & 13. Have read AK is a 1/2 day, should we spend morning in AK and afternoon at WaterPark or will we need the full day at AK? Thank you, your advice makes planning so

Hey Lynn and that's a great question.  Personally, we are always done at AK by around 2 PM, but you might ask someone else and they say, "oh we stay all day."  If it were me planning the day though, I would say AM at AK and PM at the waterpark.  I would also make sure I arrived as early as possible.
You definitely want to hit AK in the AM and go straight for the safari, as I have found that this is when more of the animals are out.  When it hits the heat of the day, they are off in the shade somewhere.  Also grab a fast pass for Everest.  Those are two of the most popular attractions at MK.  Dinosaur usually moves rather quickly, but fast passes are also available for this attraction as well.
I hope this advice helps and thank you so much for coming to the Mom's Panel.  I hope you all have a wonderful WDW vacation.
