Hello! Planning a trip to WDW in 2013. Torn between CBR and POR/FQ. Stayed at CBR which we loved. What are the main differences between POR and POFQ? Which resort is better for 5 y/o twin boys? Are there any other moderates that you would recommend? TY!

    Hi Christine!

What a great question!  While I am charmed by the tropical island vibe of Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, I am going to suggest you choose Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter for your next Disney adventure.  The Doubloon Lagoon Pool is just perfect for your twins. What five-year-old boy wouldn't want to slide down a sea serpent's tongue?  Also, this is the smallest of the Disney moderate resorts.  That means that, no matter what room you are assigned, you'll be close to all the resort's amenities.  That is such a benefit when traveling with small children.  It will save you many steps over the course of your vacation.  It's an added bonus that you can take an enchanting boat ride to Downtown Disney from this resort.

I think you'll find that the theming is well executed at this charming resort.  Let me know if you have any additional questions about it.  I've stayed there a number of times and would be happy to tell you all I know.

    Best wishes,
    Jill

PS.  Be sure to try the beignets in the Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory during your stay!  Yum!
